Driving behind this white one for a couple minutes earlier and concluded that it is the embodiment of: The guy who peaked in high school (star of the football team), now incredibly fat and wearing the now too small for him letter jacket trying to relive the glory days, if anyone remembers.

I think it’s largely related to the fact that it seems that most people that browse Jalop, or at least the ones that comment on it want a car that turns & stops as well as it goes. And while the hellcats do turn fairly well for a car of its bulk, its never going to be confused with something like a GT350, M3/4, or 911.
